Sarah Ruth Jacobs

I am a creative writer and an environmentalist who grew up in Bangor, Maine. I currently live in New York where I teach Digital Media and Society at the Center for Worker Education and Composition at the New York City College of Technology. I am a founding editor of The Journal of Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. My dissertation, which I will defend in the spring of 2018, investigates long-term shifts in the demographics of American readers as well as how the novel form has competed and engaged with emergent media. My CV with contact information is available here.
